every day
another day begins.
and we are broken wheels at midnight
left locked on city streets
by stupid trusting people,
robbed of the rest
of their bicycles.
and we are the people
also. the wings
on birds
flying in violent sunrise.
and the birds
also.
it’s the job
and home
and the job again.
we move in crowds, flowing
like tides against shorelines.
and we will die like this
in crowds.
we will die like this
and we will live
like this.
every day
another day
and I am tired. I
am tired.
how are you?
