I pass it back to my father
as some one walks a dog.
He notices and waves to us,
who would have waved back anyway,
and is invited to join us in enjoying us.
He looks around, shrugs and does.
While there’s still some left of it,
he reaches in his pocket and unveils
a fresh one. The dogs get a treat.
