Inspiration: Mark<\/strong><\/em> Fisher<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(11 July 1968\u00a0\u2013 13 January 2017), known for his blog called “K-Punk”, was a British writer, critic, cultural theorist, and teacher based in the Department of Visual Cultures at\u00a0<\/em>Goldsmiths, University of London<\/em><\/a>. He initially achieved acclaim for his\u00a0<\/em>blogging<\/em><\/a>\u00a0as k-punk in the early 2000s, and was known for his writing on\u00a0<\/em>radical politics<\/em><\/a>, music, and\u00a0<\/em>popular culture<\/em><\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n Fisher published several books, including the unexpected success\u00a0<\/em>Capitalist Realism: Is There No Alternative?<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(2009), and contributed to publications such as\u00a0<\/em>The Wire<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Fact<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>New Statesman<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/em>Sight & Sound<\/em><\/a>.
