Profit not from your station\u2014 as leader of this great nation.
The presidency was not intended to be a money-making operation.
But you won\u2019t listen, no matter what happens.
The emoluments clause should, in fact,\u00a0become law,<\/em>
instead of a strongly-worded Constitutional suggestion.
Our dignity as a country\u00a0has lessen\u2019d.<\/em>
\u00a0<\/em>
But you care naught, tweeting madly about random celebrities from
your golden throne, in Mar-a-Lago.
You can\u2019t even\u00a0be bothered\u00a0<\/em>to stay, for\u00a0too long<\/em>, in Washington.
The golf courses there, they must not be\u00a0up to par.<\/em>
We are looking to the stars\u2014 praying for relief,
while the rest are on their knees, caught up in the furor of belief.
Resounding with chants, extolling what gives us grief.
Bowing to thee\u2014\u00a0some say you are chosen by GOD, HIMSELF.<\/em>
Then again, we all have different priorities
(some\u00a0less\u00a0<\/em>misguided than others).
\u00a0
Venomous venal villain.
You are selling us OUT<\/em>
any chance you get
to make\u00a0an easy buck.<\/em>
What luck!
There is no dearth
of Saudi princes & oligarchs
to\u00a0fill\u00a0<\/em>your cavernous hotels.
\u00a0
I\u00a0smell something.<\/em>
\u2018Tis\u00a0rotten.<\/em>
And it is coming from your off-shore tax-dodging coffers.
How many\u00a0<\/em>foul offers have you received
since taking that oath of office?
How much money\u00a0<\/em>have you, your family,\u00a0your cronies MADE\u2014<\/em>
with your underhanded\u00a0sleazy\u00a0<\/em>tactics?
\u00a0
Emoluments.\u00a0What a joke\u2014<\/em>
a joke\u00a0<\/em>akin to our politicians.
Do nothing. BAN EVERYTHING.<\/em>
Bail out the banks. And invest
the rest\u00a0<\/em>in the military\/prison industrial complex.
What a smoking train wreck\u2014
\u2018tis a dumpster fire\u00a0beyond\u00a0<\/em>reasonable comparison.
We\u00a0must\u00a0<\/em>garrison ourselves\u00a0against\u00a0<\/em>this seemingly-endless onslaught.
Those who sought to buck The System,
by voting for a man with\u00a0no experience\u00a0<\/em>in politics\u2014
a man of\u00a0bad character\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0worse hair\u2014<\/em>
THEY are the ones who NEED to care\u2014<\/em>
they NEED to LISTEN NOW more than EVER.<\/em>
\u00a0<\/em>
On Election Day, be sure to pull\u00a0the right\u00a0<\/em>lever.
Check\u00a0the proper box.<\/em>
DO what you need to\u2014<\/em>
to send the message: \u201cWe are\u00a0DONE\u00a0<\/strong>with YOU!!!\u201d<\/em>
But those of blue, they\u00a0must\u00a0<\/em>do\u00a0their part,\u00a0<\/em>as well.
They\u00a0need\u00a0<\/em>to be candidates of\u00a0strength & vitality,<\/em>
not corporate shills\u2014\u00a0<\/em>controlled
\u00a0by\u00a0the will of lobbyists.<\/em>
SEE\u00a0THROUGH\u00a0<\/em>THE CHICANERY.
RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS.<\/em>
I know you might be disillusioned\u2014
that\u00a0your voice\u2014 your vote, it matters little.<\/em>
But\u00a0now\u00a0<\/em>is\u00a0not the time\u00a0<\/em>to give up.
You say, \u201cSo what?<\/em>\u201d
DON\u2019T BE A\u00a0LOST CAUSE.<\/em>
Don\u2019t\u00a0help this country FALL.<\/em>
Don\u2019t be complicit with\u00a0the downward spiral.<\/em><\/p>\n\n
