Get well soon, Bernie Sanders.
\nYou, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
\nThe both of you: venerable, experienced political warriors.
\nThe both of you: human, weak (of flesh).
\nThe both of you: get well soon, the world is counting on you.
\nOr at least,\u00a0a few of us\u00a0<\/em>are: the more economically and environmentally conscientious among our number.<\/p>\n

Others have given up the ghost: 2016-era Berniecrats, the lovers of Jill Stein, Gary Johnson.
\nYou (yes,\u00a0YOU<\/em>) helped elect a madman.
\nToday you\u2019re saying that\u00a0no one<\/em>\u00a0is qualified, everyone\u2019s either racist or sexist and that you\u2019ll sit another round of elections out, in protest.
\nAn impotent impudent protest.\u00a0Weak.<\/em>
\nI find it akin to pissing against a gale force wind in the dark.
\nThe world doesn\u2019t have time for your pathetic gestures.
\nYour man-bun cultural sensitivities.
\nNobody cares about what you heard on Facebook, last week.
\nWe are in\u00a0crunch<\/em>\u00a0time.<\/p>\n

Time to vote.
\nTime to kick ass.
\nWe cannot suffer another 4 years of this.
\nWhether it be from Trump, or Biden
\n(basically Trump lite, for moderate democrats, at this point).
\nKEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HER SHOULDERS, Joe.\u00a0AND\u00a0HERS<\/strong>, TOO.<\/em>
\nTAKE A STEP BACK.
\nANOTHER ONE.
\nANOTHER\u2026
\nYou know who we don\u2019t have to worry about being too much of a creep (I hope)?
\nBernie.<\/em>\u00a0He knows who he is. What he is about.
\nHe suffers no fools; he tells it like it is.
\nLike it\u00a0should\u00a0<\/em>be.
\nNow if only he survives into perpetuity.
\nLet no cardiac episode or cancer claim him
\nwhile the Republicons are blaming him (and the other candidates)
\nfor\u00a0everything\u00a0<\/em>under The Sun.<\/p>\n

Of course, that\u2019s what we have come to expect, by now:
\nliving in Trump\u2019s World, by Trump\u2019s Hand, under Trump\u2019s Rules.
\nTweeting like we never have before. Casting our wishes into the ether.
\nOne side wants Bernie to die, one side wants him deified.
\nRemember that a man is merely a man.<\/em>
\nCults of personality, they do not serve the side\u00a0of good.<\/em>
\nWhat would\u00a0you\u00a0<\/em>do if given another chance\u2026at life?<\/em>
\nCancer survivor. Ruth Bader.
\nHow about how well the healthcare system works
\nwhen it is someone\u00a0important,\u00a0<\/em>so afflicted:
\nlike she, Bernie Sanders & Alex Trebek.<\/p>\n

Wouldn\u2019t it be amazing if\u00a0ALL\u00a0<\/em>of us could be covered
\nin case\u00a0a tragedy\u00a0<\/em>so\u00a0<\/em>cleaves our lives asunder?<\/p>\n

Medicare for\u00a0ALL<\/em>. They do it all over the planet.
\nWhy can\u2019t we get it, here? How are we so different?
\nWe are not.<\/em>\u00a0And as long as people like Bernie survive,
\nwe still have a fighting chance, to thrive.
\nThere is no need for your life to fall by the wayside,
\nbecause of an accident, a simple procedure, a malignant tumor (or otherwise).<\/p>\n

But Mr. Trump, Mr. Biden would object.
\nThe only way I\u2019m voting for you, Biden, is a last-ditch effort.
\nBecause I know you will do whatever is in your power to steal the primaries,
\nlike Hillary did to Bernie, nearly four years ago.
\nWhat do we know, as Americans? We always think we can do it better.
\nYet we continue to sell ourselves short.<\/p>\n

Do what you can to cast your vote, when the time cometh.
\nAnd they\u2019ll do what they can to stop you, to confuse you, to cause you disillusionment and despair, make sure you don\u2019t arise from the comfort of your chair, come Election Day.
\nMixed messages in a mixed bag, that is what I glean from these democratic candidates.
\nCorporate versus Social. They want to make you think you are a Communist, for wanting the same social benefits as the American \u201cheroes\u201d of Wall Street.
\nBail out the banks? Bail out this. Bail out that\u2026
\nHow about:
\nBAIL OUT THE PEOPLE?<\/em>
\nBernie, Elizabeth Warren, they are the only ones I trust enough
\nto do that.<\/em><\/p>\n

What shall come to pass?<\/em>
\nA perilous winding road stretches out over the horizon, into the breast of infinity.
\nWe walk, thinking we know the path\u2014 thinking we know where it shall bring us.
\nBut we don\u2019t really know. All we know is that we should\u00a0expect the unexpected<\/em>.
\nWe are destined\u2014 to do\u00a0what?<\/em>
\nIt depends on where your priorities lie.
\nRepublicon or Democrat.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re either out for\u00a0number 1,\u00a0<\/em>or others.
\nNationalism vs. Globalism.
\nBut globalism, that means someone else also gets a piece of the pie!
\n\u2018Tis the price, thereof. What else do you want?
\nAll for yourself.\u00a0What the hell?<\/em>
\nGreedy boy, Little Donny. He\u2019s got all the toys gathered up in the corner.
\nAnd he\u2019s kept them there for the entire duration of playtime.
\nLet us kick over his slipshod castle of blocks and Lincoln logs.
