\nIt is open for you to explore
\nSit here in shouts
\nStand there in silence
\nDodging bullets from an invisible force
\nOr will it to be an illness
\nEating away the grit on my bones
\nI struggle when I pray
\nCan I defeat a demon?
\nWhen its teasing me
\nto submit me to its prison
\nI feel the blink is the only time
\nI can ride away
\nAnxiety
\nDon\u2019t let the ground take me to its mudholes
\nTo struggle to pull,
\nTo push me to the surface
\nDon\u2019t let me get stuck as non-existent<\/p>\n
\nprovides worries and,
\nalso don’t cares.
\nYou are a rebel as well
\nas the child hiding from stares
\nand conversations…
\nnot only tear up when sensitive,
\nbut also feel the ripping within your skin.
\nNerves that are erratic
\nand spin dancing into your pores…
\ntrying not to drown
\nin your moments of incompetence.
\nYou can be treated like a numb brain
\ndepleted of all thought…
\nsometimes your words and grammar,
\nor dialect are not as artistic as how you feel.
\n“Look at me\u2026
\nI’m the goof child of a scarecrow and a
\nrainstorm ”
\nyou may feel like you are an ego
\nin the clear egg shell
\nScreaming for help to break me through.
\nEmbarrassed?
\nOr how it has always been.
\nUntil the next thought brings you
\nto that of an evergreen field
\ncast blindly in beauty by the sunset…
\nerecting safe shadows onto the roads.
\nEven gravel is smooth
\nwhen your mind is reshaped
