color: #000000;\">It is tempting to think<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Of the heart as a one-bedroom apartment<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">With room for only one tenant at a time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">But truthfully the heart is like<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">a hotel undergoing eternal renovations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">New rooms are always being built,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Old ones are always being boarded up,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and the tenants are always moving in and out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Sometimes there are so many rooms,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and no one to stay in them;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">other times a hundred renters determined to squeeze.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Some are permanent residents,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Some are perennial vacationers,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">others passing through, who scarcely say goodbye,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and some overstay their welcome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">They stay awhile,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">They check out,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">And when they leave, you change the linens<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and re-stock the mini-bars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">So after a long day of imagining<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">My heart to be a one-bedroom<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Where you live alone<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">(utilities included, of course,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and the discount for friends)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">I open my eyes and say a weary good evening<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">to every tenant<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">every squatter<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">every honeymooner<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">every freeloader<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and every overnight backpacker<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;
