One year AFTER what I had assumed<\/em>
would be The Immediate End of Mankind.
Time to get political. <\/em>It's hard <\/em>when
one has become so <\/em>cynical.
Hopefully, The Changes that have been made
are not <\/em>irreversible. A Circle\u2014 We seem to be
walking in and around<\/em>.
I listen <\/em>to The Sound of The Leaves,
as they fall and alight 'pon The Ground and
The Spokane Streets [crunching underneath feet<\/em>].

The Sun is out <\/em>
and beaming <\/em>high above
The Patchy Ice of early November snowfall.
I reflect <\/em>and smile<\/em>, thinking that We
are not ALL <\/em>lost. Even though A Few
have since lost <\/em>Their Ways amongst
The Dogmatic Battlefield of Ideas and <\/em>Ideals.
Two poles adrift\u2014<\/em> further and further from one another
on an ever-<\/em>expanding front<\/em>.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?<\/em>
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE WAY<\/em>
THAT THINGS SHOULD BE?<\/em>
No simple solutions here.<\/em>

A ballot, in My Pocket.<\/em>
A BALLOT <\/em>ready to be progressively CAST<\/em>
and deposited through The Chrome Box slot,
at The Bus Terminal.
THIS STATE IS NOT NORMAL!<\/em>
Though one day\u2014 <\/em>it may <\/em>be.
It may <\/em>return\u2014 return <\/em>to The Way THINGS<\/em>
seemed <\/em>to be headed,
before The Orange Man with Tiny Hands<\/strong>
led Us headlong <\/em>into The Tweetstorm Maelstrom.

From The Heart\u2014 COMES LOVE.
And from The Love\u2014 COMES LIGHT.
Here IT is\u2014 <\/em>The Dawn of Election Night.
Hopefully<\/em>, You made The RIGHT <\/em>Choice.
Otherwise, it is Your Voice that shall be LOST.<\/em>
Even if A Single Vote seems A Shot in The Dark,
REMEMBER <\/em>still, that that BALLOT\u2014<\/em>
THAT BULLET <\/em>IN THE CHAMBER\u2014<\/em>
it is not only Yours<\/em>, but,
IT IS YOUR<\/em> RIGHT.<\/em>
Make The Right Decision
